Photo under cut.<br \/>\n<a name='more'><\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-QYvHK-g_F3M\/U1rEafZkrSI\/AAAAAAAADyE\/wQ4uAWoo1Gg\/s1600\/IMG_0968-1.png\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-QYvHK-g_F3M\/U1rEafZkrSI\/AAAAAAAADyE\/wQ4uAWoo1Gg\/s1600\/IMG_0968-1.png\" width=\"560\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\nMy bare skin isn&#8217;t very attractive, as you can see&#8230; I decided to crop out my nasty dark circles because I still feel really self-conscious about those.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\nStarting out my pores were as huge as they&#8217;ve EVER been (visible through my concealer AND foundation ugh!). I&#8217;m sure it was multiple factors involving stress, poor diet, poor skincare routine, and a lack of proper face primers, but I&#8217;ve been since reflecting on my actions. For the past few years I&#8217;ve had really bad acne across my T-zone (mostly on my cheeks) but lately I&#8217;ve been getting acne around my chin as well. To be honest I know my acne as it is right now is nowhere near as bad as others, or as bad as it&#8217;s been in the past, but trust me when I say it is PAINFUL. I often get the kind of acne that hurts to touch and is deeper under the surface, so once it forms it stays on my skin for a long, long time.<\/div>\n<p>\nAfter 14 days, the amount and size of acne on my face has been reduced, as well as the amount of blackheads! I&#8217;ve been using the scrub 1-2 times a day (morning and then night) and the DIY pore strip once a week (though I may bump it up to two times a week). You can see that my eczema around my mouth, however, has gotten bad again after the recent con (lots of makeup and not enough vaseline!) So I have to apply my creams daily again. I was a little sad that the pore strip didn&#8217;t take out as many black + whiteheads as I&#8217;d hoped, but I read somewhere that you have to exfoliate AND steam your face to open up your pores first before applying it. So I&#8217;m going to try that for the next 2 weeks, and then do another checkpoint post to see if that has made any difference!<\/p>\n<p>Again, as I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve read from others, getting your skin back to a healthy state is a long and meticulous process, but it doesn&#8217;t have to be. If you build your skincare regimen into your daily routine, rather than dreading the process, it becomes second nature to your lifestyle.
